Pete Burdon is the founder of Franchise Media Training. His focus is on protecting the reputations of Franchises by preparing them to be ready for negative news media attention that can be just around the corner. This involves media interview training and crisis communication planning designed explicitly for franchise networks.
The other emphasis of the company is the growing reputation of franchise networks. This included training teams on how to generate positive news media attention, while Pete also wrote published bestselling books featuring franchise leaders across the world.
He is a former daily newspaper reporter and government press secretary. This puts him in a unique position, having worked on both sides of the media interaction and understanding the needs of both reporters and those they communicate with. He has master’s degrees in Communication Management and Journalism from universities in New Zealand and Australia.
