Franchise Radio 142 “How To Import A Franchise System From Overseas” with Matt Fitton, Nurse Next Door

Matt Fitton – Nurse Next Door Home Healthcare Services – In 2019, after a two-year sabbatical in Vancouver, Canada, Matt Fitton and his partner (in life and business), Amber Biesse launched the Canadian-born home healthcare franchise, Nurse Next Door into the Australian market.

When we last spoke with Matt in May 2020, Nurse Next Door had just awarded their first franchise location on the Gold Coast. Since then Nurse Next Door has rapidly expanded and as at January 2023, currently has 30 Franchise Partners, either launching or operating, in 45 locations around Australia, from Townsville in Far North Queensland to Perth in WA. They also have another 3 groups attending Final Interview Day in Melbourne in a fortnight’s time.

Matt shared his experience during Covid-19 and how the businesses got affected. You will learn from him how he emerged from this situation, and that franchise business became a big part of it.

As he embarks in this interview, he gave some insights on how to import a franchise system and run businesses while hustling being the “Nurse Next Door”.
