It’s a German word. And what it means is you can work on something to the point of the optimum when you put more work into it, it actually it becomes less than optimum. You shouldn’t put too much into something as it actually becomes disadvantageous and I think I picked that word when I saw it, is it applies a lot into franchising – your documentation, your systems. Don’t try to tick every box.
As Richard Branson says when you’re 80% ready, you’re as ready as you’re going to be. You try getting to a hundred and you’ll never get there. Because things keep changing. So bear in mind, keep it simple and, don’t get too complicated.
