Professional bodies at the Franchise Expo
The ACCC (Australian Competition & Consumer Commission) promote compliance with the Franchising Code of Conduct, by helping people understand their rights and obligations under the code and the Competition and Consumer Act. They do this by supplying franchisees with education materials such as guidelines, articles and fact sheets, to ensure your franchise meets the legal checklists.
The Fair Work Ombudsman provides information and advice about Australia’s workplace rights and rules. Operating independently of Government, their functions include promoting harmonious, productive and cooperative workplace relations and ensuring compliance with Commonwealth workplace laws. The services of the Fair Work Ombudsman are free to all workers and employers in Australia.
