Paul Cott graduated from Law at Deakin University in Geelong in Victoria in 2006. He heads up a small law firm based in a beautiful regional tourist town in Victoria, Ballarat.
The main work he assists clients in is employment law, civil litigation of all types, domestic building disputes and building law advice, and wills, estates and probate matters. He is passionate about getting a great outcome for all his clients and getting them to where they wish to go.
He has also his own podcast by the name of Lydiard Law which gives non lawyers tips and tricks for their most common legal issues and questions, in a very wide range of topics. He is soon to record the 50th episode. The podcast has been operating since August 2019.
Paul is also an adjunct lecturer for the College of Law in Victoria where he assesses and mentors students at the very end of the process for gaining admission to practice law. He is also in an additional position known as an In Practice Component Mentor. Paul loves to share his knowledge.
He volunteers his time at a local community legal centre, to give back to the community where he lives.
In his spare time, he likes to spend time with his family, including his dog Charlie and follows the AFL football where he is a passionate Geelong supporter.
